Emergency Management Group
MISSION
The purpose of the Emergency Management group is to set forth administrative and operational policies and procedures that will provide for an efficient utilization of all resources during the occurrence or threat of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property to governmental jurisdictions, businesses and the residents of Wayne County so they can identify, prepare, and respond to emergencies.
PROGRAMS
- Emergency Management Group
The purpose of the Emergency Preparedness Management program is to provide comprehensive planning, training, data and grant management services for local government jurisdictions and the general public so they can have the knowledge and ability to prepare for all emergencies. - Resource Managment
The purpose of the Recovery Management program is to provide field operation services to Wayne County departments, local government jurisdictions, and the general public so they can have continuity in their mission critical operations and business activities during times of disaster and emergencies. - Emergency Operations Center
The purpose of the Emergency Operations Center program is to provide organization, coordination, and direction services to Wayne County Disaster Relief forces and the municipalities so they can communicate, save lives, reduce casualties, and minimize property damage.
