Wayne County Health Choice - Resources

DentalAssist

DentalAssist provides limited dental care and services to individuals 18-63 years old. Under the DentalAssist program, you are assigned a provider authorized by Golden Dental. The company will give you a list of dentists participating in the DentalAssist program.

Covered services - Relief of pain and infection is available, along with an annual cleaning and repair of dentures.
Advanced services - Dentures, fillings, extractions and oral surgery procedures are included with authorization and proof of medical necessity.
Local Anesthesia - This is covered for certain procedures. Twilight or general anesthesia are not covered.
