Commissioner Shannon Price was elected to the Wayne County Commission in November 2012. As a husband and a father of two, he balances his commitment and dedication to his family with his desire to serve local communities. His unique blend of lifelong passions - technology and government - have been assets in his work with non-profit organizations and local municipalities where he has a proven record in managing projects and developing and managing communication plans. Past projects include working in concert with Canton Township officials on projects designed to ease traffic congestion along Ford Road and leading the fight to assist Schoolcraft College in filling the nearly 12,000 nursing vacancies in Michigan.
Prior to representing non-profit organizations and municipalities, Shannon Price preformed constituent relations for the Attorney General’s office for both the previous Attorney General and current Attorney General Bill Schuette.
