Environmental Health - Tobacco Reduction and Prevention Program
Educates the public on tobacco reduction and prevention and also provides education on how to quit tobacco use. Insures compliance with the Michigan Smoke Free Air Law for public facilities, work places, and food service establishments by education and enforcement. Smoke Free Air Law took effect on May 1, 2010.

Michigan Smoke Free Air Law
Enacted in 2010, Michigan’s Smoke Free Air Law prohibits smoking in bars, restaurants, and other public establishments.
Smoking Violations
If you see a violation of the Michigan Smoke Free Air Law in Wayne County and would like to report a complaint, please call 734-727-7400. A complaint form can also be filled out and sent to the Wayne County Department of Public Health, Environmental Health Section, 5454 S. Venoy, Wayne MI. 48184.
